  my grandmother died very recently and her funeral was last weekend.

  how many of you initally checked out this site for completely innocent reasons?

  just stumbed across it and couldnt' stop reading, or to see what was being read with the intent of setting us or someone else in your life straight?

  then b/c of what you read you could no longer buy into the whole jw fraud and left the org or are in the process of leaving?

  i just wanted to tell you all how much i appreciate all of you.

  even though i haven't officially met any of you, i feel so close to everyone on here and you are all dear to me.

  it's so nice to come home and be able to read this forum and "catch up" with everyone.

  hey guys, just thought i would post.. i try not to let it get to me, but i'm soo sad right now b/c i can't believe my own family won't talk to me b/c i am not a witness!!

  i was always there for them, was the daughter, friend, sister etc.

  they needed me to be and now - nothing.

  Interesting announcement made at the Assembly

  this goes back a year ago, my mom was trying to get me to go to the district convension b/c there was a major announcement being made.

  of course i didn't go (why go back after all these years?).

  anyway, she called me when it was over and i asked her what the announcement was.
